Coat wanted a strategy, positioning and creative platform that separated them from the competition.
My idea was; where most paint tries to steal the show, Coat supports it.
The target market have stuff- sentimental stuff they’ve collected from a life well lived. And they want to display it in their homes- their personal galleries and museums of them.
Be it a bit of tile from a club they used to rave at.
A precious doll from childhood.
Or a bad piece of art a friend bought them but they can’t get rid of.
This is the paint that makes their life’s work shine.
